So this is a tribute to Chris Hill of sorts that things aren’t worse, because on paper the U of U and its smaller budget should be getting shellacked by all of this. I had an interesting discussion a year or two ago with someone connected with the athletic department. Chris Hill left things financially in excellent shape for Harlan with funds set aside for a lot of things that could easily be allocated elsewhere to soften this blow.
It is too bad we have to do this, but things could be WAYYYYYY worse for Utah.
I wonder how things will be for byu, if they only play half the season or no season at all.
I would imagine donations in SLC are down quite a bit so this could be a final blow to byu football.
It’s good to hear the Utah athletic dept is in good shape.
