With apologies to Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and an admission that I’m half-kidding, here’s a Kragthorpe piece that is not a fun read. It contains some uncomfortable facts that we ought to acknowledge. It’s part of the process: We should be past denial, negotiation, and anger, and moving from depression into acceptance. I’m serious about acceptance. I suspect the coaching staff is too.
Note: “Acceptance” does not mean we agree with our detractors (BYU visitors who come here to educate us on the real meaning of our team’s season, for example), just our recognition that our Utes blew it. Time to move on.
