I understand that Harlan is just trying to do his job here, but I don’t think this article reflects well on him at all.
I had no problem with Harlan’s thinking. He wants to play the games with fans. I agree.
I suppose its just a matter of when, and what is most appropriate given the current circumstances. Football (and NCAA money) is not a top priority at the moment, even if it is for Harlan. I don’t dispute the value of playing with fans, as long as there’s no risk involved for the fans or players.
