Bradlee Anae PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Week

Yep! Here’s an article from the Deseret News:

Anae was amazing on Saturday, but I feel like the defensive game ball has to go to Jaylon Johnson. ASU’s star receiver, Brandon Aiyuk has 32 catches for 658 yards on the season. On Saturday?

One catch for 7 yards. That’s it.

He’s a key component of their offense and Johnson completely removed him from the game. Now, pressure had a lot to do with that. Daniels simply didn’t have the time. But when your star receiver never gets a window, it becomes impossible to respond when the pressure comes.

When a DB is playing such a great game shadowing a fine receiver that they never throw that direction, he goes unnoticed. Jaylon usually gets the toughest assignment and has had some fine games this season.
