In right to work states like Utah yes but back east the union in very strong and demanding

I worked at UPS for many years and the union often protected $#!+ty employees and mandates annual pay increases even for the worst of employees.

Even now I work indirectly with electricians and the IBEW is very strong and integral part of the industry. They do a lot of good but hinder a lot of business as well.

Educator unions, miner unions, steel unions are all still very prevalent. Their demands are well intended but cause a great strain on business and growth.

I’ve never been a fan of unions because the guy working half as hard as me was paid the same or more and promotions were based on years of service not ability.

Being anti-union is the most conservative I get. It’s needed in some places simply to avoid employer abuse but for the most part labor unions are outdated due to federal regulations.
