I could be wrong, but I don't see 5% curtailing any buying on our part though, which means we're the only ones getting a raw deal here. Are we going to war with everybody over being "screwed"?

And, hasn't this guy ever heard of specialization? Our trade deficit is scary, but we have it pretty damn good when it comes to being consumers. I mean, I can go down to Walmart and get a computer for under $100. I can hop online and get food delivered to my door at a reasonable price, and not pay a dime in shipping. I can order a Russian bride for the price of a slightly used Kia Optima. He's obviously not gonna put tarrifs on Russian sex workers, because they're Russian, but still. I sure hope this mess is over before the recession hits.
