Dousing rods - yeah I didn't believe it either.

Drive past a neighbor, he bent some copper rods too and was walking up and down the street using them to identify water and sewer lines and junctions. I tried it out and sure enough it worked. I'd identify a line, he'd walk up on the lawn and find the meter and it was always right on.

I don't get the science on it and plenty of websites that claim it is a bunch of garbage, but I thought it was at least interesting. The real question is who decided to do it first, THAT guys was nuts.

But yeah, I actually bet you could find that water line.

Rocker Ute icon NEW: We actually just did it with some fairly major lines going down the streets and then branching to individual homes. (nm)

o NEW: More than 80% of water in Utah is consumed by agriculture. Who don't exactly let their crops go brown. We haven't had a water crisis nearly as much as a water management crisis. Letting your lawn die isn't going to do much but cost you money (nm)
