One day people are going to learn that football (and other sports) are mainly a soap operas.

And that's not a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, people love watching great athletes compete and do things we could never do. But the main reason people watch is because they want one team or the other to win or watch a team that their team plays. Does anyone really stop and watch a game when they have no idea who is playing? People watch because they love or hate a team, coach or a certain player because they want him or her to win or lose.

With the AAF their are no rivalries, no one to love or hate. Few people are going to tune in to watch a guy run up the middle and get tackled 3 or 5 yards down the field when the outcome. The only way for it to work is to create drama and rivalries. Let's say Trump own a team and boasted about it. It would get high ratings because people would either want his team to win or lose.

Anyway. whatever.
