A funny side note to this whole thing is the ACOE is responsible for waterways in the nation, and has to approve any construction projects involving them. T

This wall/fence has not gone through the ACOE approval process, and no environmental studies have been done. This will cost well in excess of $50B to build, and cost overruns will certainly increase that by quite a bit. 120 miles of the border runs through Big Bend National Park, and building a wall/fence there would be similar to building one in the Grand Canyon.

Even if approved, this thing will be tied up in courts for decades over eminent domain/private property concerns.
