Utah vs Maine tonight: Scouting the Bears

Good news! Rumor has it that JJ will play tonight.
Maine is rebuilding after an ugly locker room fight last season caused them to clean house. They have 8 new players and a new coach who was promoted from women's coach (cue Juddy jokes here!). They were 6-26 last year, and 24-100 over the last 4 years. They have never made the big dance. Former Ute coach Jim Boylan is an alum.
They play a deliberate style. Almost half their shots are 3's. They are not very big; the tallest players in the rotation are 6'8". Most of their players are from overseas. They played Tuesday night and lost 62-50 at Denver. In that game they rebounded well, but shot poorly and turned the ball over a bunch.
They play in the America East Conference, with schools like Stony Brook, Albany, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc. They are picked to finish 7th out of 9 in the conference this season. It's so early that rankings are meaningless, but just for grins Sagarin has them ranked #320, vs the Utes #70.
They are led by 6'7" Jr F Andrew Fleming, 6'8" So F Vilgot Larsson and 6'8" Jr post Vincent Eze. They are still sorting out their guard line, although 6'5" Jr SG Isiah White is probably their best returning player.
Not much to say. Both Maine and Utah are still experimenting with their playing rotations. Maine can't match the Utes size and talent. I expect to Utes will turn them over a bunch and score a lot of cheap baskets. Utes win handily, but I doubt they cover the 22.5 point spread.
My 2 cents.
