I agree that things need to change and that the sky isn't falling either. Just spread things out and throw more downfield to not bog things down in the box. Look how many passes Hogan completed over 15 yards against Oregon. It's not that hard. | Utefans.Net

We have plenty of talent and speed at receiver and tight end to get guys open and once they spread the D out then back to Booker on the ground... We need balance.
It feels way too much like the old Jordan Wynn games when he was hurt and we never threw deep and defenses adjusted and we couldn't do anything.

UteStuckInSeattle icon NEW: If Wilson is afraid to throw the ball, then I put that on the coaches for creating this ridiculous ongoing QB battle.

480ute icon NEW: I don't know, neither QB had truly separated themselves leading up to the USC game.

480ute icon NEW: Although, at this point in the season I don't think Whit has anything to lose in telling Wilson that he's the man, and to just let it rip. We'll need a bit of a gunslinger mentality against Oregon methinks. (nm)

USS Utah icon NEW: A couple of weeks ago there were some who wanted to give Booker the nickname "Utah's offense." There was a consensus that he was the best offensive player. But now, after a loss, people are upset that Booker got so many carries in the 2nd half. (short)

codeRed icon NEW: My problem with the 3rd and 2 pass in OT... they were blitzing all night. I'm good with that being a pass, but it had to be a play action pass to even have a chance. Straight drop against 7 man blitz = disaster. Good thing Travis could run out (nm)
