Good thing we have a bye week to prepare for the mighty beavers. Oh well, next year should be our year, five home games, 4 road, no Oregon. (nm)

That Utah has a Bye scheduled in November says something about the BYU game. It's not going to be in November anymore.

The ONLY time that game may play in November is in a year like this where we schedule it for the conference to benefit.

Those games are already on the schedule* for the next couple of years near the start of the seasons, and after 2021 PAC-12 requires all OOC games to be at the start of the season (with an exception for USC and Stanford vs Notre Dame).

I guess one downside is with 7 games, season tickets are going to take a big bite out of the wallet, even if the price per game stays the same. (nm)

this so called compromise is nothing but the middle finger to the people of Utah they k is that thanks to gerrymandering most of them are untouchable

People can blame the LDS church, and avoid torturing themselves with that reality. But there is no denying the facts. 53% voted to approve a proposition, the LDS church went to the legislature with their version, which then was obediently passed.

Which the Prop 2 people approved of because the bill was poorly drafted.

If it needed to be changed, it should have happened in prolonged debate in the legislature. That is what would happen in the USA. But in Utah, the LDS church handed them a new bill and they passed it after minimal debate and no changes.

You have no idea how this played out. It was a bill each side worked towards.

I'm always open to the idea that I am wrong. After all of the work that went in to the compromise, can you tell me the differences between the LDS church's proposition and what was passed? (nm)

Can I? No. I cannot. I didn't get the chance to look at that proposition. I know, however, that there were significant changes, according to my source who I trust. (nm)

Hopefully someday that state will legalize adulthood. Until that day there are legal dispensaries across the border in almost every direction in every PAC-12 state, and illegal weed is still available in every high school in the state.

The laughable part is that the Prop would lead to recreational use. Where've these people been? Uteh will never legalize adulthood. It will Always be a nanny state (nm)

RE: How can you seriously say the church approves of medical my? They did everything they could to ensure the legislature didn't pass legalization. Followed by telling members to vote against prop 2.
