Solid advice. My employer provides them to us for free. Many insurances cover them as preventive so there may be no Out of pocket cost to you

That is not how the flu shot or immunization works at all, so the answer to your question about getting the flu shot for ten years and then stopping is your chance of getting the flu remains the same as if you hadn't done it (essentially).

Regardless of what you believe, or know, about vaccinations you can't deny the fact that failing to vaccinate leads to an uptick in cases, which raises the exposure level for other unvaccinated people.

Infants, like my 4 month old daughter, can't get a flu shot. They rely on the rest of society to be responsible and to be get their flu shots in order to reduce their risk of exposure. (nm)
