Being out of state I haven't been to a home game in quite a while.

I think this paragraph by Coach K comes across very very well.

I got choked up," head coach Larry Krystkowiak said. "It was powerful. That student section was something I've daydreamed about since seeing some of our football crowds. They're the heartbeat. Everyone who shows up. When you have a crowd like that it gives you something. I just want to thank everyone and if you liked the product, we welcome you back.

    1. He praises the student section and ties it to the football crowds.

    2. Calls the student section the heartbeat.

    3. Thanks everyone who attended the game, and goes on to welcome them back.

This is something I love seeing. Doesn't highlight the past few years or coaches and the trouble we've had except peripherally by welcoming fans back.

Sounds like he has the team headed in the right direction. Hoping my wife was able to watch the game with my in-laws, father-in-law is a zoobie. I was unable to watch as taking care of four kids during her absence tests my mettle.

And a shout out to any and all single parents for whatever reason, you're doing a great job and I give you much respect. This is the second time she's been absent from the kids in the past year and a half and luckily this time it was only for three days. And I didn't have to juggle work and parenting this time. Last time was an adventure, a very long 10 day adventure.
