Then there is the "Spivey Question." Will we all be diminished if Spivey is offered? Will any victories be tainted on a team which Spivey plays on? Is SLVCC somehow a program of thugs and deginerates because Spivey was their point guard? (Oh, the shame!).
Memo to Cougar Fan: this question has been discussed at length on this board for weeks, we didn't need your help or moral instruction (but dammit, we DO need a point guard).
Lastly, I'm sure it's been a frustrating decade for Zoob Fans. First there wasn't an internet 10 years ago for this kind of discussion, then when everybody got on line you had nothing to brag about and had to view this board from a silent perspective, unable to post anything pro-coug at all. Then came the week you've waited lo these many fast Sundays for: Utah loses two conference games in row! I can see you now, cheez nibs strewn about your family room, chubby fingers rubbing in glee as you watch the Utes lose to Wyo on Monday night. Finally, the chance you have waited for, the golden day has arrived! Next day, as soon as the boss has his back turned, you log on and pounce on the Ute message board like a panther out of a tree.
And what do we get from you? Next years' football schedule, moral instruction about recruting and Provo's answer to the Amazing Kreskin predicting the next 20 years of basketball at the U and Y.
