For all of the lying they do - bordering on pathological, to be honest - sometimes I can't help but pause and ask "Wait...

aren't they supposed to be the religious school?" It is ridiculous how much they lie, from the top of the athletics food chain on down to the zoob media and fan boys, they all lie constantly. Holmoe and Bronco are as bad as Harmon and Wrubell.
They announce signing home and home contracts that, once requested, turn out to be 1 and done or 2 for 1 deals. They have the media lie for them about the size of their ESPN contract, claiming, without the tiniest shred of evidence, that it is 400 or 500% bigger than it really is in order to make it look somewhat comparable to Utah's PAC-12 contract. They lie about the PAC-12's reasons for inviting Utah over BYU, claiming religious discrimination and a dozen other persecution complex absurdities.
They lie about it being only a matter of time before BYU gets invited to the Big 12. They've been lying for years about BYU being all but invited to the original Big 12 if it wasn't for the anti-Mormon bigots at Baylor. (TCU was the school that got screwed by Baylor; not the zoobs.) They lie about having planned to go independent long before Utah was invited to the PAC-12, to hide the embarrassment of making such a prideful knee jerk reaction. They lie about independence being comparable to the PAC-12 in prestige, schedule strength, and income.
They have alumni replay officials cheating in the booth to get themselves bowl eligible. They lie about hiring position coaches away from Utah, making them look like idiots for publicly announcing a deal that wasn't final. They lie about Utah making a "strong push" for their OC retread when Utah was really targeting Dennis Erickson. They lie about going 7-5 against a WAC schedule being better than 5-7 against a PAC-12 schedule.
They lie about unethically recruiting LDS athletes on their missions. They lie about losing recruiting battles, claiming they "pulled" their scholarship offer whenever a recruit commits somewhere else. They lie about winning recruiting battles, claiming all of their 2 star commits were being "recruited by" Utah and other BCS schools that merely sent a generic form letter or two.
They can't stop lying. I barely scratched the surface.
