Anyone here with Comcast? I was a new customer and got a bundle, it's about halfway through the 1-year deal... but I want to downgrade and get rid of everything but internet. How/what is the best way to do this? Or is it possible?

NEW: It's possible, but you'll pay big to keep just the Internet. It's all part of their packaging system. As soon as you break that up, you'll pay top dollar for any single one component (Cable TV, phone or Internet). (nm)

NEW: I had a friend try it a couple of months ago and I think the Internet only cost he was quoted was something like $85 a month. (nm)

NEW: A $39/month bill would be fantastic. Yeah, I really don't need espn, PAC-12 network... considering the only tv I do watch is sports. Thanks to all that replied, it has helped a lot! (nm)

NEW: My first choice was to go with Clearwire Internet for $40/mo (4G LTE), but it couldn't get reception at my house.

NEW: I use Ooma for phone so I don't need phone. I use Comcast Xfinity for broadband. I got Basic Cable for $17/mo, but that includes a $20 credit for bundling with the internet, so they pay me $3/mo to keep cable.

NEW: I called and asked them about it, because my bill didn't show the credit. The rep mentioned that my internet was $20 lower than it would be without the cable tv, and that the credit is no longer shown on the bill.

NEW: I had CC bundle - internet, phone & TV. Changed my mind to get sat TV for a few years and recently switched back to the 3 way bundle. They've been great about changes. (nm)
