I just got off the phone with a source deep within the Athletics Department who shall remain nameless. According to Doug, not only will there be time for tailgating, but we might be in there tailgating before Noon if all goes well. The more likely scenario is sometime between Noon and 2:00 PM. It all depends on the number of cars that have to be moved.

The University will close the Guardsman Way lot at 6:00 PM the night before, and then tow out any cars left there overnight first thing Thursday morning. Once "all clear" is given by Parking Services, Darrell Peters will send out an email letting us know that the lot is open.

So... keep your smart phones handy and be looking for that email.

And because I know you will ask, officially you cannot park your rig in there the night before. It's unknown what will happen if you do.
