Gordon B Hinckley's house. He must be rich, there is no couch on the front porch or car on blocks or anything.

I've lived by a number of general authorities and if they are making millions off the church they aren't spending it, and neither are their children. You'd think of the now hundreds of GA's that one of them would have popped for an eternity pool or a Bentley post-assignment.

Hmmm... maybe if I was a GRANDCHILD of a GA... then I'd be soaking it up.

Or maybe they get paid in Brigham Young's gold if they can find it.

NEW: I don't know about Utah employees, but I do know that the President of BYU is a long-time Crimson Club member. I'd say his paycheck is significantly greater than whatever your utah employee byu fan is pulling in. (nm)

NEW: The President of BYU isn't paid? It's church calling? hmmmm...learn something new every day. I guess I was wrong then. Regardless, I'd say there are probably a lot of U employees that are byu fans and probably some byu employees that are U fans.

NEW: I would ask him next time I see him, but have better manners than that. I don't believe he took a pay cut when he left the his spot as Dean of the Med School and President of the U Dept of Health Sciences to become pres. at the Y.

NEW: From what I understand, although there is no paid local clergy (completely volunteer service), general authorities do receive a 'stipend'. Others church employees get paid, such as church education (including BYU professors, admin), ... (nm)
