I look forward to giving him a standing ovation on Senior Day in RES.

He is a guy everyone argued didn't belong on a D1 football team, let alone a PAC 12 team. Of course this wasn't his fault. We simply hadn't recruited depth at this position. In a way, he caught a huge break by landing an offer from Utah. In another way, he put himself in a position to fail and to be severely criticized by Utah fans by potentially biting off more than he could chew.
Wynn gets injured and he is thrown to the wolves to mop up. With the help of John White, Brian Johnson, and Norm Chow; he led the Utes with a respectable 6-3 record and topped off the season with a memorable come-from-behind victory over Georgia Tech to win the Sun Bowl.
He is blue collar through and through.
He is, and forever will be, a Ute.
