That I attend church with Jeremiah Jensen. I have also defended him here because he is not nearly the zoob some of you make him out to be. That being said, he sent out a tweet on friday addressing the agreement between the Big 12 and the SEC and stated that "he didn't know how this would affect local schools". I have never been more grateful for our invite to the PAC 12, as I was able to reply "I don't know about the other schools, but as a Ute fan this deal doesn't affect my school one bit"

He and I talked about it some more at church today, and we were both in agreement that regardless what happens with a playoff, the end of the BCS as it is constituted is complete. The new "big 4" conferences (SEC, BIG12, BIG televen, and PAC 12) have shown that they have the pull to form whatever alliances they want with whatever bowls they want. There is going to be a dramatic change with the bolw system in terms of alliances and contracts. I asked him if he felt that this new SEC/Big 12 bowl would be the Cotton bowl, and he stated that they could basically shop it to the highest bidder....does Louisiana want it, does Jerry Jones want it..whoever wants it bad enough will pay big money to get it. I love where Utah is at and I am grateful we got the invite when we did.
