NEW: My only problem with that is that national outlets look to local media for background and quotes. The local hacks should understand that decent content about the national program reinforces their own positions.

NEW: Honestly if I were the one in the job to fix this I'd go the church and complain about their newspapers. Good publicity for Utah football is, for most of the country, good publicity about the community and by extension, the Mormons.

NEW: Living out of state, Utefans.net and Ted Miller are my primary sources of information. Some of the report on here are excellent. Local SLC hacks have not , nor ever will step up their coverage. They will always be mid-major quality (nm)
