Oh yeah, it was confirmed that we will not be playing the Zoobs "for a while" after this year's football game. The Big-10/Pac-12 agreement effectively slammed the door shut on the Utah/BYU football rivalry. I get the impression there aren't many involved in the Department and the Football office who are saddened by that.

HOWEVER, the other sports benefit greatly from their rivalries with BYU, especially the Olympic sports. So, we should expect to see continued games with the Zoobs in all other sports.

NEW: I see Utah State on our schedule for the next 3 years, so does 'a while' = 3 years? That is a good start! No more cougars until 2017. I have to admit it has been fun to pummel them for most of the last decade. (nm)
