Rice's
Stats Don't Lie

He has played in five games now and I think his own stats
prove he is not a good college QB. They are as follows...
- 3 wins and 1 loss as a starter...but look at
the teams he beat: Utah St, Wyo. and UNLV. He came off the bench against New
Mexico so he didn't get credit for that one. the one team he played with any
talent (BYU) kicked his ass all over the field and he was replaced.
- 58 comps for 119 atts.; thats 48%. well below
average
- 772 total passing yards in 5 games = only 154.4
passing yards per game
- 58 completions in 5 games = only 11.6 per game
- 58 completions for 772 yards = only 13.3 yards
per completion. Longest saturday night was 22 yards.
- Averages on touchdown pass every 14.5 completions.
NCAA average is 1 every 10.
- Add in no arm to get the ball down field, can't put
any zip on the ball on quick slants and hitches
Would someone please tell me why this guy is the Quarterback
of D1 football team? Is Mac to loyal? If there is such a thing. Is Breska that
big of a flop? Is it because Elliot got hurt. When Brett was healthy he played
better than Lance in the spring game.
