... on one hand you hate to play Utah because:
It kills your RPI because of strength of schedule (Utah's RPI is in the bottom half of all D1 schools). Air Force will be fighting for a BCS bid this year. But once again, Utah chokes in their OOC games. With Utah's pathetic record, a win doesn't help you much. In fact, Boise State looks better on your schedule than Utah. So if we fail to get a BCS bid after going 11-0, then the blame can be placed squarely on the shoulders of pathetic losers like Utah. (Man, the old WAC doesn't look so bad now. Imagine TCU instead of Utah) LOL
But then on the other hand, wouldn't it be great if you could play Utah every week because:
You would be guaranteed to have a "Player Of The
Week" every game. Case in point: Utah has played 4 games this year. Every
game, Utah's opponent has produced the next Player-Of-The-Week for their
conference.
Game 1, Arizona - Joe Tafoya PAC-10 Defensive
Player of the week.
Game 2, Cal - Andre Carter PAC-10 Defensive Player
of the week.
Game 3, WSU - Jason Gesser PAC-10 Offensive Player
of the week.
Game 4, AFA - Corey Nelson MWC Defensive Player
of the week.
Man, if you could play Utah every week, you would win the Heisman! The reason? The pathetic Utes can make anyone look good. ROTFL!!
Any bets as to which Utah State player will be the Big West Player of The Week following their game with Utah?
So for PAC-10 bottom feeders (and Big West teams), the guaranteed win against the Utes is just what the doctor ordered.
But for quality teams like AFA, a game against the Utes is a No-Win situation.
Utah, come correct. Withdraw from the MWC and join the Big Sky!
You know, I have always had great experiences with Air Force fans, who have to be among the classiest fans I have ever known. I think it's something about the Air Force and the commitment to honor and duty that cadets (and graduates) share.
Which is why I, ah, don't think you belong in that crowd, for obvious reasons. Your post smells a lot like one that a rather young BYU fan (high school age or underclassman) would send, pretending to be an Air Force fan. All that piling on, boasting, gloating, taunting. Not something a mature Air Force fan would post. So please go pester someone else and stop dishonoring the AFA.
By the way, Air force won. Did you notice? Hello!
by the fact that you played a div II A school before you played BYU but no, that is irrelevant in the equation. You are right, Air Force is definitely BCS bound lets see, you crushed a JV High school team for your first game, then you barely beat a sub-par BYU team with an injured Quarterback and Running back. Then on you go to play the powerhouse that the Utes have been so far this year and you are on your way to the top. Air Force is the greatest team ever and we are all just holding you down. Oh by the way, on your way to a BCS bid, you are catching so much attention already, I see in the USA Today poll that you are all the way up to the top........arrrrrrghhhhhh others receiving votes Oh well I am sure that you will pop all the way to #1 when you play powerhouses like Army and Navy. But too bad your team just isn't good enough to go undefeated so I guess it just won't make that big of a difference. YOU ARE A LAME!!!!!!!
GO COUGS!!!!!!!
