Timothy Drisdom  4 PG 6'3" The L.A. Rockfish pipeline opens up again with this highly rated PG with great shooting ability.  
Bryant Markson  4 F/G 6'7" An explosive athlete who had knee problems in his Senior year of HS.
Richard Cheaney  4 G/F 6'5" A super athlete that Majerus expects to become a stellar offensive and defensive threat.  The best player to go through Verbum Dei since Andre Miller.
Andrew Bogut   4 PF 6'8" Won't join the team until December, because of the Austrailian school calendar.

Britton Johnsen 1 F 6'10" Last year's MWC POY, but Ute fans are still waiting to see him realize his full potential.
Trace Caton 1 G/F 6'4" This year's team captain and certified hard ass.
Cameron Koford 1 C 7'0" Earned a fourth year to play by graduating in four years after starting out as a partial qualifier.

Chris Huber 4 PG 6'0" Returned from his mission only to find no available scholarship thanks to the 5/9 rule.

- New assistant:  The Utes have hired Silvey Dominguez, formerly of USC and UTEP as the #1 assistant to coach Rick Majerus.  Dominguez has a reputation as a top-notch recruiter.  He replaces Dick Hunsaker, who left to become the head man at Utah Valley State.
- Verbals for 2003:  Stefan Zimmerman, a 6-9 PF from Orem, UT; Justin Hawkins, a 6-6 F from Lakewood, CA; Josh Olsen, a 6'2" PG from Sandy, UT.
