The Team Not Taken by Robert Frost channeled by Loboman
Two roads diverged in a football world,
The Utes could not travel both
And the Utes, for five seconds stood
Kyle looked down one as far as he could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
The Utes took the other, as just as fair,
And rode on the spoils of their BCS fame,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Far from Bronco and his holy underwear
They'd worn out the Y, won BCS games,
And on that bright. sunny June Day
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Said "Eat Me Cougs! We won't look back!"
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
The Cougs they sniveled, "Please Utes, please come back."
I shall be telling this with a sigh,
for the Lobos too were left high and dry
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and the Utes-
Took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
